Halo Reach Beta Gameplay Videos
May 4th
Below you will find a couple of Halo Reach Beta game play videos that were taken on two different maps, with two different game modes. The beta doesn’t have many game modes as the final version willl have, but they have managed to put a few very fun and likable modes into the beta. These videos you will see are not videos of myself playing, but rather videos I have found, that I have personally liked better than the rest I had seen. You should absolutely check them out, as they will give you an excellent idea of what the finished game will be like, and what you can expect.
In this video you will see use of jetpacks, rocket launchers, grenades, and much more. Check it out.
Map: Powerhouse
Game Type: Stockpile
In this game mode you have to capture the flags and bring them into your teams base (there will be a ring glowing with your team color) . You have to drop the flags inside this ring, and let them stay there for a little bit, to get credit from them. Watch out though, as the other team tends to come try to steal them. Very fun gameplay mode.
Also this map is great, the graphics look really good, its outdoors with a few slight indoor elements, very polished, and very fun. Definitely my favorite map in this beta.
In this video you can see great use of the armor power, some great ways to use the assault rifles, and other weapons.
Map: Sword Base
Will post more videos if they are good, and will be recording my own later as soon as Bungie’s File Share is fixed. Stay Tuned !

Halo Reach Beta is now working better
May 3rd
The Halo Reach Beta that came out today, certainly had problems when it first came out. But a lot of that now seems to be fixed, as i can get into games almost right away.
However, there still seems to be problems with the File Share function, used to upload videos and screen shots directly to Bungie’s website. I even saw Bungie.net disable logging in with your account for about 30 minutes, as i’m typing this, Bungie.net is fixed, but the File Share function within the game, is NOT.
I was hoping to get you guys some videos and pictures as soon as I could, but because of this problem there will be no videos until it is fixed, or high res images. I did however snap some pictures with my cell phone, and you can see all of those below with slight descriptions of what is happening in that scene.

My very first game, I got this kill about a minute into the match, called a Death From Above. You melee the enemy while falling on them, and that happens. You land on them, and snap their neck !

His head is almost backwards, lol.
Stay tuned for more Halo Reach Beta videos and pictures.
Halo Reach Beta – Already Experiencing Problems
May 3rd
Okay i’m not sure if this is only on my end, but I cannot connect to ANY games. And I have been trying for about an hour.
The beta lets you set all your customizations, like the helmet, armor, and other things. But once you enter Matchmaking, the game just sits there and does not find any servers. This is the screen it get’s stuck on for me.

At one point, it even said “The Halo Reach server is not available at this time. Please try again later.”
Sometimes it will also say that it is downloading a playlist, which can also take a while.
As you can tell by the picture above, there were 145, 977 when i took that picture (approximately 10 minutes ago). I am looking at the screen again now, and the user count is 151,320. It just jumped 5343 in under 10 minutes! And this is all within the past 2 or so hours that the beta has been out. So the user count went from 5,000 (the users who got it 2-3 days early) to over 150,000! That’s a huge number in such a short time, so these sort of errors are expected. Dont get too scared, they will be fixed soon.
If anybody else is having these problems, feel free to post and describe what you are experiencing.
